SHARED PARTING
Shared Parting is a pedal sharing program where my community members
get to borrow the Parting effect pedal for one week.
HOW IT WORKS
We are currently running a trial period that is only open to YouTube Members on the Emily Hopkins YouTube channel. As time goes on, depending on how everything goes, we'll open Shared Parting to YouTube subscribers. As of now, we don’t know when we will extend Shared Parting outside of YouTube Members.
Shared Parting is shipped with a guest book and a power supply.
SELECTION PROCESS
Right now, in order to be selected, you must be a YouTube Member both at the time of sign up and time of random selection. A membership costs $3.00 USD.
If your name is chosen and you are no longer a YouTube member, we will choose a different person. As a Member, you must sync your YouTube with Discord and join the EmilyHarpist Discord server. There will be a Shared Parting Discord channel with a pinned link to sign up.
Here is a guide on how to connect your YouTube to Discord.
Each week, random names will be selected, and you will be contacted by Gabby at gabbygharp@gmail.com. Once a shipping address is provided, you will receive a tracking number.
SHIPPING + HANDLING
The pedal will be shipped directly to you by whoever had it before you. We will be sending them a label with your information. Because this is a shared community program, you must be comfortable receiving the package from the previous borrower than directly from us.
A week after the pedal has been delivered to you, please write/draw in the guest book provided, and pack everything up into its original box. You will receive an email from our team with a pre-paid shipping label to print and place on the box to be dropped off at your nearest post office.
Shared Parting is open to international participants who will be responsible for any import fees or similar costs. The shipping process may vary for international recipients due to a variety of factors.
BORROWER’S RESPONSIBILITY
If the pedal is kept significantly longer than the permitted time frame without permission/contact, the borrower will assume financial responsibility for replacing the pedal.
