Chippo is a tasty little treat. It's a really simple way to get started making some chiptune inspired music. Set the parameters to your liking, and you can even play along with another instrument – a synth, a harp perhaps – as Chippo chips and chirps. Chippo is purposefully simple. There are no hidden features, no secret modes. It doesn't generate MIDI, only vibes. It's a fun snack for a day in the studio.

We worked with the folks at Cycling '74 on this concept. Mike implemented it inside RNBO, a patching environment built to export software. That patch was exported as a VST, which we designed the UI for and Dave implemented in JUCE. If you want to see the RNBO patch, or the code, you can find all of that on Cycling '74's GitHub.

Chippo has been baking in the oven for over a year, and working with Mike, Dave, and the entire team at Cycling '74 to bring Chippo to life was an absolutely amazing experience. This is our very first plugin, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Unlike most cookies, Chippo is sugar-free, calorie-free, and doesn't cost anything.
FUN(FETTI) FACT: Emily's favorite cookie is funfetti. But chocolate chip is always reliable.
